Life drained,
Empty shell Listless daunting Upon a thousand broken promises A smashed trust Burning with envy Gutted by reality Thwarted by humanity Sung upon the lips of the damned Spun by hells fury, fire and brimstone The marks still remain Buried under the surface by time Regret fills the empty silence And tears have long since died Emotion rubbed raw by insincerity Forever I'll keep the memory Closer than my own skin Written secretly on my blood Tainting all thoughts that cross it.
