"Lost Time"
I did not take advantage of what my future offered.

"Lost Time"

My mind wanders back,
To yesterdays life in fact.
To when I was so young.
In a life that would come.

My dreams of the future,
Surely was coming true.
Not a day would find me,
Depressed or even blue.

The world was a cake,
I'd eat all I could take.
Eat what I could young,
Day dream and have fun.

It happened in my youth,
Sadly that is the truth.
No responsibility I had.
I'm now alone and sad.
