Fertile Fate Quizmo LaGrande ![]() A gentle afternoon in fall Bid herald voices, an autumn call, A chaos whispered like a squall, “Behold me one and all!” Arrogance amongst the leaves, “I’m much more beautiful then thee.” In eloquent demand to tree, “You bear no other leaf like me!” An argument of orange, red, Burnt sienna, crimson-bled; Leaves of gold and ginger said, “Behold my splendid hue instead! “I’ve lived a full life, rich and green. You now can deem me king or queen; Or cast me on the silver screen… Immortal be my color scheme.” The squabble of the leaves ensued. Reluctant, conceit fed their feud ‘Til one-by-one they dropped subdued In fertile fate, fresh mulch deluge. ~ * ~ For "Invalid Item"
