Some people see the rainbow, some only see the gold.

Some people see the warmth in rain, some only see the cold.

Some people see the stars at night, some only see the black.

Some people only look ahead, some can’t stop looking back.

If we could see the rainbow, look for the warmth in rain.

Take every quart of pleasure, with every ounce of pain.

Maybe then we’ll realize looking past the little things

Only makes us miss the joy in life those little things can bring.
