DREAM TRAVELER

I travel into the vortex of eons past.
Rings of brilliance, holes of darkness,
Plumes bright of destruction released.

I lose myself in swirling clouds.
Crush of vapor, incandescence,
Chaos tamed in helium birth.

I wander in kingdoms immense.
Things bizarre of alien built,
Crystal columns, red skies reflected.

I witness at war two races furious.
One tall and iridescent clad,
One broad and rainbow furred.

I fantasize of intelligence weird.
Me of carbon and she of beauty,
Someone imagination dreamed.
