Before And Now Before I lived alone as a lost little boy. Now I feel as a man and my life I enjoy. I lived in dreams and cast out the world. Now in reality I treasure life like a pearl. Many years I just wanted to be alone. Now I love each day that comes along. I never realized I would regret my life. Before I married my understanding wife. Before I was frightened to face the day. Now as a man ready to face what may. I held much hate and dislikes of others. Now I consider them a sister or brother. I failed to realize life is a short instant. Now I grab all of every fleeting second. I am ending this life I haven't beckoned. For a life of reality I am ready to second. By: Kings
