Pumpkin Grin Quizmo LaGrande ![]() Okay, Mom, now take a look; Not a scarier goblin in the book! Mom, simply carve the pumpkin’s grin Just like this. Can you do the chin? My Jack-o’-lantern must be best; I want the other kids impressed. A glowing reminder of ME, that greeter, And frighten all the trick-o-treaters! For I’m the “terror” of my first grade class. My teacher prays the term to pass. He always tells me to sit still; And then, why does he take a pill? But mom, don’t make the face too spooky. I don’t want kids to think I’m kooky I’m not the bully I pretend— I really want to be their friend! Second place winner in "Invalid Item" 11-17-04
