Turkey and Pie
Quizmo LaGrande This holiday season, how’s this for a try? I’ll be the turkey; you be the pie. With all of the goodies laid out in a feast, You’ll be the fat pumpkin; I’ll be the stuffed beast. Our family will thank us on Thanksgiving eve, Their palettes will savor the tastes we achieve As ripe roasted hen, yes, we’ll be adored— And one big orange pastry who’s out of his gourd! But Darling, just think, here’s the best of the plan, We won’t have to worry ‘bout nothing, my man, They’ll stuff us, and bake us, all gleefully so, But we won’t have to cook, and no cleaning-up woe! * * * Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
