Vow of Truth
I see you so clear as I shut my eyes, waiting for you to be back close to me. I ponder for long but slowly they flee memories; I watch, they swiftly pass by, like shadows are chased from the morning skies, causing a feeling that drags me sadly down to a realm where hope I cannot see. A river couldn’t hold the tears I cry. Though you can’t be here now, I surely wait and if you do doubt, I ask that you don’t. For as long as I breathe, I will love you. No one can forever separate fate, no matter how hard or long they do want. To you I promise, remain always true.
