The Joy Of Love In Glorious Despair
A little something to the broken hearted

The Joy Of Love In Glorious Despair

Upon this page
a production of lines
The type of which
can be seen as lies
Of something that
all will bare
The joy of love
in glorious despair

A funny thing
I plan to do
To show to all
what I will prove
A dangerous thing
this game we play
When one does give
and then taketh away

But do they give
is the question asked
As true as I did
until the last
Word was spoken
believe they would
But forever wonder
how they could

Be so hurtful
so loving one time
The next second gone
worse than a crime
To toy with one heart
play with ones mind
Yet no sentence is served
they go on with life

You’re left to cope
to deal with the loss
Your loss of love
put to death on a cross
No knife can cut
or ever kill
Like the one with the
broken heart will

Most Dangerous is
this Joyous emotion
One gives their time
and endless devotion
Then lose again
to the hideous cycle
Die a little more
remember the title

The joy of love
in glorious despair
The type of love
remains there
Trapped in your heart
killing the time
Waiting to continue
killing your mind

You’ll win one day
remember this line
If nothing else
from this perilous rhyme
Until then
hold unto your love
Or fall victim
To what’s stated above

Upon this page
the production of lies
Is truth to many
so heed these lines
The gloriousness
of love can remain
The rest of your days
all joy no pain
