Memories Fade
some things fade while others don't

I can still see your face
Even though the memories fade
There you are
Time and again.
You can't believe how much I miss you,
You won't believe I still care.
I care,
I honestly do.
I don't know why,
But I care.

Pictures in my head,
The memories never written,
A journal left blank.
It starts on a page
And swallows a chapter.
Soon I'm not writing,
Soon the memories are gone.
Soon you're gone.

But your face never leaves my mind.
