Dream Walking
Dreams become nightmares before you know it

I walked with you in my dreams last night.
I could feel the warm breeze tease my cheek
As your strong fingers intertwined with mine.

I walked with you in my dreams last night.
The smell of you so familiar to me.
The way you played with my hair, stroking and caressing.

I walked with you in my dreams last night.
Brushing your hand across my cheek.
The way you looked into my eyes and stole my soul.

We stood so close
Bent closer and gently whispered in my ear
"I don't love you anymore."

You walked away from me in my dreams last night.
