Through the darkness your face I see
A brush across your cheek to reassure myself
with a flutter of your eyes you awake
with a silent whisper you say what is in
your heart.....and mine
The shine of your eyes as you look at
me tell me what you say is true
You reach out and pull me in for a tighter
embrace, in your arms I feel so......safe

I must turn my head, so that you
don't see the tears, you reach out and
pull my face to meet yours and grace
me with a simple kiss
With such gentleness you wipe the
