George (I will not be your subject)
I love History - you learn from it so that you don't repeat the mistakes.

GEORGE
-----------

Death to the King.

You, who born to royalty
only got off to a bad start.
You, a slow learner and difficult to teach.

In line with the Devil.

Shifting unnecessarily and in contempt of our foundation
the balance of Power.

You who use patronage and influence to pack MY halls
with your friends that you count on for support.
Your undoing on two fronts:

one, realistic alternatives unheard
two, loyal friends - incompetent politicians and managers.

inability to understand what is happening in the colonies
contributes more to OUR defeat than any other factor.

Mental illness, appearing?
concealed from the public,
taking its toll.

In October of 1788, declared insane.

Eight years with George:

occasionally coherent,
but spending most of his time wandering in the palace,
talking to himself and imaginary companions.

he is deaf and blind, and finally passes away.
