Desert Illusion
Acrostic Poem for 'Every Week Something New Contest'
Rated:

Avg Rating: (5)
In the desert illusion,

Light surrounds me.
It is an inescapable
Vortex of heat, and in
Endless sandswept plains,
Death awaits the wanderer.

A falcon in the
Sky, is free from oppression.

Atonement for my past, is

How I must live. Once
Entranced into corruption, now
Released from my
Memories, I am finally alone again.
In this solitary plane,
Time is mine to command.
