The angry clouds pile high across the sky
While the wind whips and worries the trees. The seawater roils, pulling at my feet, And I’m lost and cannot find my way. As the rain beats upon my head, The thunder roars, sending shivers Of dread throughout my mind. I’m lost and cannot find my way. I quake in fright from the storm. I search for help though I cannot see. I cry in distress, in pain. I’m lost and cannot find my way. Then the blasts of cold cease. The waters still and quiet grow. A hand reaches to touch mine, And a voice softly speaks. “You need not fear When I am near.”
