Forest Faeries
This is a poem about how I think faeries live.

I'm walking with the streams flow
I can hear the water trickle down the rocks
I begin to get tired so I lie down
in the green moss
when I open my eyes
I see little blurry balls of light
they begin to get more vivid
I can make out a little body with wings
they are faeries!
the little children are playing in the fallen leaves and picking berries from the bushes
the adults are talking and having tea
in the middle of it all
there is a big golden tree
a stream flows right passed the golden tree
on the stream there is a
lily pad
two faeries are riding it
slowly, gradualy down the stream
they are the king and queen
then, down casts a shadow
and you wake up
it is dark
the trees tower over me
like giants
there shadows are just a haunting
I arise
I start to run
I think of the fire burning at home
in the brick fire plac
as it licks the air
sizzling
