Once we were young
A boy and a girl
You were my life
You were my world
To me--you were everything
Then everything fell apart
But Boy--you never left my heart!

Once we were young
A girl and a boy
To my life--you brought me such joy!
I fell in love with my best friend
But everyone said--all of my kin
That lovin' you was a sin
So from you--I walked away
And all of my days--became gray

Boy--don't you hear my pleas?!
Can't you hear my cries?!
About me--don't you care anymore?!
Why'd you walk out of my door?!
You can't be afraid of others rude stares!!!
God--I miss and love him so much!
I long for his kiss--I need his touch!
God--can't You hear my prayers?!!!

Girl--you know I tried!
But I wasn't tough enough
I wasn't rough enough
I wasn't strong enough
I'm sorry--I was wrong
For leaving you--was the worst mistake of my life
I should have made you my wife!

Girl--over you--I've cried!!!
Just like they ordered me to do
I tried hard to forget you
But I could never quit lovin' you!!!
Even though for all of these years we've been apart
You've never left my heart
And with you--I want a new start!!!

I want to see a smile on your face!
With you--I want to lay in loving embrace!!!
All of my days--forever and always--
I'll be by your side
My love for you--no longer can I hide

No more tears falling down...

Let's turn the spark into a flame!
Lady--will you take my name?!

On our wedding night
The flame is burning bright

He says--unbuttoning it--letting it drop to the ground
In a heap...without a sound
"Now--time for some fun!!!"

The spark--turned into a flame
The flame--into a roaring fire!
"Baby--now that you share my name
Come on--quench my desire!
Let your lovin' waters--put out my fire!!!"

With both of us on our knees
God heard our pleas
He heard our sighs
He dried our eyes...

Now happily ever after...
Our home--will be filled with love and laughter!

And no more tears falling down!!!
