** #914924 Not An Image **
I stood on the bridge, Head bowed in prayer. I had not a clue Why God led me there. The night was so cold, And nothing felt right. The wind howled at me. I pulled my coat tight. I prayed for salvation, I hoped that he’d hear. Earthly things I forgot As I trembled in fear. God answered my plea And perhaps it was fate. The bridge disappeared, And became Heaven’s gate.
