The Handmade Ornament



Grandma’s favorite,
stitched with loving hands
and pauciplicated innocence;
eclipsed by love.
A snowflake born of ancient thread
to decorate The Tree.
Brought forth each year at Christmas,
to be marveled at.
Its great beauty beheld,
then passed on,
throughout the generations,
carrying the Spirit of its creator.
