Christmas Love

This morning my memory recalled past Christmas times.
When life was so simple and giving did not cost a dime.
Then you gave from your heart in many different ways.
With the thought of Jesus as you gave Him your praise.

Years ago when Christmas was known as God's birthday.
Love and friendship was honored on Jesus special day.
No greater gift could be given from brother to brother.
Than the gift of love pledged on His birthday for another.

Money and not Jesus is on most peoples minds today.
Yet Christmas has not changed it's still His birthday.
It seems mankind has become selfish and greedy.
Christmas time is for giving especially to the needy.

My friends here at Christmas time let's join together.
Give Jesus a birthday gift of love that will last forever.
When you pledge your love on this Christmas day.
You send some to Jesus on this His holy birthday
