One eye cast on the opposite side, watching the flash of silver And a touch of blond, just in case. An ear tuned to the pitch, 'Message Received' on the phone Enlightening the soul. An automatic link to your writing A gateway to your thoughts but the torrent of words Dwindled down to a trickle. Time or inspiration? Conversion of thoughts to deeds To post the card, to write the words? Or leave alone and fight the sparks Of smiles and thoughts and memories?
