Inner Critic (12/20/04 -- 21 years old) "Always wrong, always Bad!" my Inner Critic screams, complaining that once again it's Disgusted with me. Everything I've done was wrong: Fumbling for words to say to a lover, or Going out instead of staying Home to do what's "Important." (Always something more important.) "Just do it right! Keep on task - Listen to me; don't distract!" My insides scream; they don't let up Not a word left to Oppose what's heard. "You fuck up! You whore! Piece of meat! Pig!" Quit starting things you shouldn't begin Resist temptation, resist Sin. Try being her, or her, or him... "Use your Voice; shut up - not a Word" ... ?! ... eXist for others; Be a saint; forgive. Silence your Yells - stay strong to live. And Zap away that Inner Kid!
