There lies between your home and mine
Thousands of miles; Our hearts can transcend all distances Convert to smiles Down turned mouths in our sad faces. Memories stay, Bring you close, to my mind, though you're So far away. Between us spans a life of love, Family ties. I think back to when you were here; Love never dies. We're bound by a history shared, And understand, Blood lines connect, we'll not sever By sea or land. Now we find two ways of living, Dreams are fulfilled Differently; at special times Thoughts are stilled, Instantly we go back in time, Down through the years, And any sense of separation Just disappears. There lies between your heart and mine A shared heart beat. No time apart will break the bond, The bitter sweet, For when a loved one's out of sight, Not out of mind, Again we're close in spirit, love Can't be confined.
