Our Last Journey

*Heart* *Heart* *Heart* *Heart*

We hold your hand, rub your arm and wipe away your tears.
Trying to give back a little of what you've given over the years.
As we stand by your bedside,
Together again for one last ride.
You close your eyes and take your last breath.
Surrounded by us, you journey into death.
One by one we've said our goodbye.
No longer needing to ask why.
We know you will no longer be in pain.
One last memory with you we each gain.
As you pass over, peace descends.
A new better life for you begins.
One day we will all be together,
For love this strong lives forever.

*Heart* *Heart* *Heart* *Heart*
