Collecting Clouds
A warm breath in the cold of a winter's night

It was her favorite activity
naming the shapes of the clouds.
She loved to blink away the tears
caused by the dark cold in the air.
She gazed up to the clear sky
hoping for dreams,
whispering untold secrets.
She lied on her back
slowly melting the snow beneath her
singing nonexistant melodies
breathing into the night air
and creating her own clouds
shaped like bunnies and love
in the night.
