Broken Toys You and I are one, as a broken toy Broken girl, broken boy God must have thrown us together Disenchanted souls, bound by pain forever The need that binds our heart Is also the need that can tear us apart Undeserving of love, deep inside always believing Innocence lost as children For that loss we are forever grieving The touch of belonging to ease our mind A longing for acceptance among mankind A breath of love upon our cheek An arm to hold us when we are weak Someone to tell us it's okay A faint smile or grin shown our way The search for why and never finding Fear and happiness always intertwining We are kindred spirits, you and I For we are the broken toys no one else wants to buy
