Grey sins…
Grey sins…
In the middle of the night,
In the back of your car,
Laughing but guilty.
Caught in one moment,
But really it’s a lifetime.
Grey sins…
Coming back to haunt me,
In dreams, nightmares,
And in reality.
Left empty by my
Grey sins…
Unfulfilled, and tainted.
Afraid, but mute.

How do I tell you?
I promised I wouldn’t
Get attached,
Get sad,
Cling to you.
But in my sin,
I sinned twice
Because I lied.
I love you,
Even though it doesn’t
Make much sense.

Grey sins…
Your hands on me.
Grey sins…
Peeling layers away.
Grey sins…
Inside me.
Grey sins…
Touching.
Grey sins…
Loving.
Grey sins…
Whispering.
Grey sins…
More.
More.

I’ve never been so scared,
I’ve never felt so guilty,
So alone. So… sad.
But there’s no one,
No one to talk to.
Because I promised.
I promised I wouldn’t.
I promised.
My grey sins.
Grey sins…
