Innocence Lost
This may not be exactly what it seems...

They warn me away from you,
But, in you, I found a friend.
I know the warmth you bring me,
Could lead to a tragic end.

I press my lips to your mouth,
And thoughtlessness draws near.
I'm told you have no voice...
Strange... that's what I seem to hear.

The warmth is overwhelming,
The heat's rising to my face.
You are always there for me,
For you, I risk my disgrace.

I feel my pain slip away,
As I'm still kissing you.
I have crazy ideas.
Up is down, and red is blue.

I giggle, I don't know why.
I know no tears anymore.
My lips are held to your mouth.
My body yearns for much more.

I feel full... I can't hold me.
My stomach aches, the room turns,
I know I'm going to puke,
And when I do, my throat burns.

You! I thought you were my friend!
You had taken my pain,
Now it's back, but worse.
I cry tears, I can't refrain.

Now you're empty, just like me,
How does it feel to be gone?
I can say honestly:
What I did with you was wrong.
