An Alluring Siren
A poem I wrote about a girl I met six years ago.

As the summer ended,
We all were summoned to the castle,

The castle on the hill,
Full of splendor and ornate detail,
Would hold another ceremony,
Then I saw her,

She walked in like a dream,
Her luminous eyes froze me in my steps,
Strands of golden-brown hair,
Swam through the autumn breeze,

Allthough I've listened to many songs,
Her scintillating aria mesmerized me,
With her entrancing beauty,
She held my attention,

The sailors whose ships,
She sunk would surely listen again,
But having never reached her shore,
I will continue to sail through the seas,
Always travelling with her song.
