I look with longing down the street But mewmie’s car I do not see, Oh, Mewmie, Mewmie, hurry up, And please come home to me. For I am just a lonely cat Who wants to sit on mewmie’s lap, Oh, Mewmie, Mewmie, please come home, I need your lap to nap. I haven’t played a bit today For mewmie has gone far away; Oh, Mewmie, Mewmie, please don’t go, At home with me please stay. Oh, look! Is that the car I see Coming slowly down the street? Oh, Mewmie, Mewmie, I’m so glad That you’ve come home to me.
