Bereavement Press not my lips with befallen heart inside Glance not my way with moistened eye Walk with me in a tiger’s stride Lay with me as eagles fly Cherish true love as angels do Embrace me as a lover and friend Tomorrow breathes life anew Waste not this day ruing its end Besiege the night to quell your fear Greet the morning reborn Hold our memories ever near From your heart let love never be torn Waste not your sorrow or wroth Nor retrace the path traveled Dance through life as a moth Be proud as a tapestry still unraveled Let time not pass misspent Nor let grief put you asunder Remember what our love has meant Recall the nights of thunder Press not my lips with befallen heart inside Glance not my way with moisten eye Walk with me in a tiger’s stride Lay with me as eagles fly
