Diamond In The Rough
        by Feather Duster  (secretvick@Writing.Com)

In a restless cold world searching for you at dawn,
my lazy heart follows yours, steady and calm.*Heart*

While thinking of you, asleep, my silent thoughts fall
into place with the message, I give you my all.*Kiss*

Touch me tenderly, again, dear, safe in your arms
clouds swirl through creampuff showers, I'm hit with your charms.*Heart*

In you, I have such trust and yes, no lies,
in the midst of these mornings, I sigh at the rainy, sultry skies.*Kiss*

For only a diamond in the rough, my rude red cheeks blush,
as your crazy soft kisses take the course my heart will rush.*Heart*

I'll love you forever and a day . . .
until the time you deny me but then come begging back to stay.*Kiss*

With embracing each other loyally to be strong and bold
somehow you are simply "My Valentine" to have and to hold.*Heart*
