I went to look At the river today And all I could do Was stand and stare, And stare and stare And stare and stare At the road that is No longer there. The river went raging along its course, Screaming and laughing With a loud voice: “Look at me! See what I did To the road that used to Connect my banks? I leaped up and washed it right away! Ha! Ha! It was such a funny Kind of day!”
