NEVER KNEW LOVE His aged hands reach for my own and then clasp my hand within, Eyes that no longer see the stars search mine - once again. I never knew love until that day, that it could be so tender and warm; That it could withstand the pain of age and weather any unwanted storm. I never knew love could be so sweet as the long years upon us grew; The understanding of our hearts somehow would see us through. The years have passed without regret, each moment treasured as we rest safe in the touch of a loving hand; the kind of love that's blessed. Countrymom 1/18/05
