Her sobs were so dry they screeched
like a fork on a dinner plate causing dogs miles away to bark violently. She was crumpled on the floor her legs, forever paralyzed, had gone with him her soul had gone with him. Tears gouged bloody canyons on her cheeks harsh blades icing down her chin branding, red-hot, the realization. He had been found without romance an uneducated attempt at suicide tendons razored through, bleeding from only one wrist. She pressed her face on the gritty floor incinerating her eyes with her guilt likening them to what was left of her love She was defeated her love just wasn't strong enough to save him. ----- 1-19-05
