Come, my love, come play with me
At the oasis by the Palms Three In a beautiful land by the sea, In our beloved Catuary; Found where Mr. Kookaburra decreed Where his feather fell in the land by the sea We built our kingdom, and together we Ruled there so very happily. You planted for me roses pink In our garden by the sea, By the beautiful aquamarine sea In our beloved Catuary, Beneath the stars together danced we At the Midnight Moonlight Ball by the sea, Our hearts filled with laughter and gaiety In our beautiful Catuary, Come, my love, come play with me At the oasis by the Palms Three, And together we’ll live eternally In our beloved Catuary. From “Love Songs of the Makraela Princess Hemangi” Transcribed by Rambley-Bambley Hatshepsut, Head Historian Catuary By The Sea
