Death
an acrostic on Death.

Death slips in slowly.
He does his duty with ease,
Follows his orders.

Every moment - Death.
His responsibility
To a sacred oath.

A lonely spirit -
He is shunned and feared by all;
Death weeps for no one.

The endless duty
Of the isolated one
Who receives no thanks.

He is forever;
Eternally wandering,
Death, alone, is bound.
