I Don't Know Where To Start
I am just a small insignificant person but together we could.....

I want the world to know I really care,
Want to reach all the suffering out there,
Want to speak and write straight from my heart,
But I just do not know where I should start.
How can I know the ones I need to find?
The ones who need support to change their mind,
I want so much to help, but helpless feel,
Sometimes the truth we see is so unreal.

I want to make a difference in this world,
Want my words, my poems, to be unfurled
Like flags that fly free in a healing breeze,
And I pray to the Lord to help me please.
How can my words change anything at all?
I want my thoughts to soar and sing out, call
Messages that are obvious and clear,
I just hope, pray that people want to hear.

So much evil exists, just look around,
Sin is silent, takes over with no sound.
I still believe there's good in every heart,
But don't know what to do or where to start.
How can I tell everyone they're worthwhile?
That they can change someone's day with a smile,
If they listen and try to understand
A stranger, reach out lend a helping hand.

I'm just one person, I've a simple plea,
Can all be open-minded, try to see
That the world can be changed, if we believe
Each can make a difference, and don't deceive
Ourselves, think it's too late to even try,
Shrug our shoulders don't let our eyes cry.
Don't show feelings or open up our heart
I want so much, I don't know where to start!
