Come Closer
He beckoned to me fingers reaching eyes aglitter smile fixed. I rushed to meet him eager, too frightened of the cold to know better. Closer he moaned into my ear his breath the sweet scent of honeysuckle. His arms held me strong as vine they wove themselves against my body into my hair. Come closer still he whispered a melody in that soundless tone like birdsong. I gazed into his eyes shifting green the color of spring. This was written especially for:
