Tired, tired, tired, tired!
I am too tired to write tonight! Every fiber, Every atom, Every molecule of my being Screams exhaustion! Not lack of sleep, Not even depression; Just deep, mind-boggling Exhaustion! I feel it in my bones. I feel it in my stomach. My brain says lead me To my bed and let me sleep. I sink down into warmth deep And clinging, My head lies heavy on the pillow, My eyes close, My brain shuts down. My last thought is of soft fur As my hand strokes the ears Of my sweet Tiger I feel my cats all around me Snuggling close; Purring ~ A purring boat ~ I ride it softly to dreamland, And I sleep.
