Can you?
A person asking for a lending hand.

Can you save me,
Can you grasp my hand,
Your hand is the one I see,
As eternal as grains of sand,
I feel I might flee,
Straight across careless land,

In all the time I am here,
You have never let me down,
I feel no fear,
As I see you frown,
I feel that you have no cheer,

You have come for me,
You have saved me,
I will no longer flee,
I am now free.
