If I have a closed mind
I might just find I no longer see beauty. If I have a closed heart I might just start To perform acts from duty. If I have a closed soul I am no longer whole. With an enquiring mind I am not blind I search for the complete scene. With an accepting heart I don't depart From feeling, toward love lean. If I think of my soul, I choose an active role. A truly open mind Is rare to find. No easy path to follow. With a true loving heart There is no part Of false, shallow or hollow. If God is in my soul Heaven can be my goal.
