"Hugs"
(Written 2/6/05 - 21 years old) A day, like many others: Horrible. Difficult. Unlike those I long for, Grab at, wish for, Can't have. A day - unkind, following a Night - sleepless. Turning and twisting Remaining Awake. Now a day... Soon an evening - Forever it seems - Over and over and over, I Remain living through More of the same. Always about to Burst or to break Always about to crumble. Until a Day - Different than before: A day in which You were there, Interested, caring - Not judging or Tearing me down. Outstretched Arms, there to Grab me - hold me Over and over and Over. Embracing through the Day. Day after day. And things are okay with You in my arms Entered in Winnie
