Of sorrows sown
To reap the tears

To reap the tears
Of sorrows sown
And regrets that lie in wait
And feel the pain
The cause my own
Born there in my hate

Forever’s promise
Forgotten vows
Faded now by years
Jaded deep in ignorance hue
An wrought by fabled fears

And the dreams once lost in sleepless nights
And the lessons they do teach
Are hidden within this wakeful void
And are far beyond my reach

So there to force the issues
The ones that I must face
To take me from my isle of thoughts
And put me in my place

To see that I should tow the line
So be it now the case
To seek the reasons
Why I cry
For the cause of the human race
