My Fellow Children
To my Brothers and Sisters

My Fellow Children

To my sisters on the street.
To my brothers who have seen defeat.
To the children of the night.
We are all children of the light.
The horror we have seen.
The world trying to make us mean.
But if you look real hard.
We will always see the true reword.
Through many sacrifices we have come.
Each leaving us stronger for the next one.
We all try to escape the sorrow.
To find there is a purpose for tomorrow.
Stand tall and be brave.
He has saved us from the grave.
Believe in the power of his love.
Shining from above.
Feel the warmth of the light.
As you survive yet another night.
When judgment day has come and gone.
Those of us left to carry on.
Will find our way together.
To stand as one forever.
Children of the night.
We must all follow our light
