*** HEARTS AND FLOWERS *** Now it has been a year or more since you walked out the door, Valentine's Day holds no magic; Now my life is really tragic! Young lovers pass me on the street, He gives her flowers - oh, that's sweet! And a heart-shaped box of chocolate, too.. Cupid's arrow flies straight and true! I remember when our love was new each Valentine's Day brought from you Hearts and flowers, just for me - I thought we'd last through eternity. I was wrong about that, you see - Love didn't mean to you what it did to me; All the "hearts and flowers" have gone by.. There's nothing left of you - and I. Yet - life goes on and someday I may take another chance, along the way - Hearts and flowers may play a part in healing this lonely broken heart. *** Countrymom 2/8/05
