"Sky Lights" Stood on my deck last night Looked up above the trees Stars smile as points of light Sky lights in a scented breeze Wishes made on falling stars Passed through ions of time Came by way of worlds afar Burned up beyond the pines Private moments to remember When no one else is around I will fondly recall whenever Snow falls on frozen ground Daydreams for another day I'll enjoy the here and now The stars can point the way To a splendid new tomorrow
