OIL THE HINGES! An old Irish saying comes to my mind; You'll have to agree it's one of a kind! "May the hinges of our friendship never grow rusty" Spoken in brougue, it sounds kind of crusty! Now friendships may last for many a year and some are broken off with a tear... You have to work hard at keeping a friend, Oil the hinges, again and yet again! Be true to yourself and be true to your friend It's not really so hard, from beginning to end! Call on the phone or just stop by their place to see a smile spreading across their face! Be quick to forgive and be quick to admire the good things about the friendship you desire; For nothing is equal to a friend who is there who offers a hand when your world's full of care.
