![]() I Can Spy A Giant's Eye I can spy a Giant's eye peering through the glass, He dances round the playing field when I am in my class. Perhaps he wants to learn to read and share my books with me, Or maybe tell me stories of his giant family. No-one else can see him, though he's big enough, you know, He's always playing out there, even in the rain and snow, I'd lend him my umbrella, but it would not keep him dry, He splashes in his welly-boots, they must be three feet high! He waves at me, and cheers each time I get my answers right, And watches when I have my lunch, he'd eat it in one bite! And, if I turn my picture-book the wrong way up instead, He makes me laugh by jumping up and standing on his head! I love to go to school each day and watch his funny games, My teacher cannot see him, so she cannot call him names. So, when I'm looking out at him, she says I'm in a dream, He makes my lessons fun to learn, he really is a scream!
